Engage. Automate. Scale.

Interfaith Family is reinvented as 18Doors with an integrated approach for developing a wider community and enabling capacity through automation.

The Challenge

InterfaithFamily was ready to take their offerings to the next level. As a well-respected source of information, kehillah (community) and resources for couples and families in Jewish interfaith relationships, they wanted to expand and enhance what they provided only in a new incarnation. Also, they were looking to update their internal business processes to relieve their team of mundane manual tasks, while enabling their growth goals.

How could they address their needs to further engage their audiences while scaling up their offerings – without necessarily having to expand headcount?

The Solution

Reinventing the organization as 18Doors required a complex and holistic plan. Building a strategic plan for creating an end-to-end structure required immersion in their organizational history, needs and goals. Surveys and interviews of internal and external audiences were conducted. The qualitative data was compiled and analyzed to provide additional insights. From this work, a series of tactics and key components were identified and implemented, including:

  • A CRM-centered, integrated data management infrastructure leveraging the power of Salesforce.com.
  • Nurture streams to automate communications and notifications through the marketing automation platform Ortto (Autopilot) that natively integrates with Salesforce.
  • A series of interactive elements (quizzes, assessments, polls) built in tools like Outgrow that could be used to both educate and entertain. Data captured through these interactions were stored in the CRM.
  • Copy curation, development and guidance for leveraging and polishing their massive store of existing content – and have it be consistent, coherent while reflecting their new branding’s voice for their new site.

The approach allowed them to emerge as 18Doors with a fresh, more extensive digital presence that also enabled them to scale up.
